We’re delighted to hear that a Teachmeet is taking place later this month in Dublin at the Ethical Education Conference being organised by the Educate Together movement.
The conference – ‘Understanding ethical education in a modern Irish Republic’ – takes place at the Alexander Hotel on Fenian Street, Dublin 2 on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st November, with the Teachmeet will take place on the Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11. The event is being organised by Simon Lewis, the Principal of Carlow ETNS, and Rozz Lewis who teaches at the ETNS in Portlaoise.
While the conference is being run by Educate Together, all teachers are welcome to participate in the Teachmeet, but the organisers have requested that any prospective speaker deal with the subject of ‘Ethics in Education’.
